These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Data Vedanta website, programs, courses, workshops, webinars, mentorship services, learning resources and related services (collectively, the “Services”). The Services are provided by Data Vedanta Technologies (“Data Vedanta”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, registering for a program, attending a workshop, creating an account or purchasing a Service, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any program-specific terms presented to you before purchase.
1. About Data Vedanta
Data Vedanta provides industry-oriented education, professional training and coaching. Programs may cover Generative AI Engineering, AI & ML Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, Python, Software Engineering and related technology subjects.
Services may include instructor-led live classes, workshops, webinars, projects, assignments, assessments, mentorship, career guidance, community access and recorded learning content.
2. Eligibility
Programs are generally intended for engineering students, graduates, working professionals and other learners interested in technology and professional development.
Unless a program states otherwise, participants should be at least 18 years old. Where a minor is permitted to participate, the required consent of a parent or legal guardian must be obtained.
3. Program Information and Changes
We make reasonable efforts to keep program descriptions, curriculum, trainer information, schedules, duration and inclusions accurate.
Curriculum, trainers, session timings, learning tools and delivery methods may change where reasonably necessary. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled participants where practicable.
Third-party tools or platforms used in a program may change or become unavailable, and Data Vedanta may provide a reasonable alternative where appropriate.
4. Registration and Account Information
You must provide accurate information when registering or enrolling.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and must not share paid access with another person.
We may restrict or terminate access where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, unauthorized sharing, misuse or material breach of these Terms.
5. Fees, Taxes and Payments
Program fees will be displayed or communicated before enrollment. Applicable taxes may be charged in addition to an advertised fee where required.
Payments must be made through payment methods made available by Data Vedanta or its authorized payment partners.
Enrollment is subject to successful payment processing and any applicable program eligibility requirements.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds, cancellations and batch-transfer rights are governed by the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy and any program-specific refund terms disclosed before payment.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Live Classes, Attendance and Recordings
Certain Services may be delivered through Zoom, Google Meet or other third-party platforms.
Participants are responsible for having a suitable device and internet connection and for joining sessions on time.
Where recordings are offered, access may be limited by the program’s stated access period. Data Vedanta does not guarantee that every live session will be recorded where technical or operational circumstances prevent recording.
8. Course Materials and Intellectual Property
Course materials—including presentations, notes, recordings, videos, assignments, projects, source code, templates, documentation, graphics and curriculum—are owned by Data Vedanta or the relevant rights holder unless expressly stated otherwise.
Enrollment grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use applicable learning materials for personal educational purposes.
You must not reproduce, sell, sublicense, publicly upload, commercially distribute, share paid access to, or use Data Vedanta’s proprietary course content to create a competing commercial course without prior written permission.
9. Student Work and Submissions
Subject to third-party rights and licenses, participants retain ownership of their original projects and submissions.
By submitting work to Data Vedanta for teaching, evaluation, feedback or program administration, you grant Data Vedanta a limited right to access and use that submission for those purposes.
Data Vedanta will not knowingly publish identifiable student work as a marketing testimonial without appropriate permission where such permission is required.
10. Student Conduct
Participants must behave professionally and respectfully toward trainers, mentors, staff and other learners.
Prohibited conduct includes harassment, threats, discriminatory conduct, disruption of sessions, unauthorized system access, distribution of unlawful or harmful content, misuse of another person’s information, and unauthorized recording or distribution of restricted content.
Data Vedanta may suspend or terminate access where necessary to protect participants, staff, systems or the integrity of the learning environment.
11. Career and Employment Disclaimer
Data Vedanta provides education, practical skills, industry exposure and career-development support. Unless expressly stated in writing for a specific program, Data Vedanta does not guarantee employment, placement, interviews, salary, promotion, freelance income, business income or any particular career outcome.
Individual outcomes depend on factors including prior education, experience, skills, effort, interview performance, market conditions and employer requirements.
Testimonials, statistics and examples of learner outcomes are illustrative and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of similar results.
12. Trainers and Mentors
Data Vedanta may engage employees, independent professionals, industry practitioners, mentors or third-party trainers.
Trainer or mentor substitutions may occur when reasonably necessary. Data Vedanta will make reasonable efforts to maintain the learning objectives and quality of the relevant program.
13. Third-Party Services
Services may depend on third-party platforms such as payment gateways, video-conferencing tools, cloud services, communication platforms and software tools.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Data Vedanta is not responsible for independent third-party operations outside its reasonable control.
14. Website Availability and Acceptable Use
We make reasonable efforts to keep the website available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure operation.
You must not use the website to violate law, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, scrape data without permission, interfere with security, send fraudulent communications or infringe intellectual property rights.
15. Privacy
Personal information collected through the website and Services is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy contained in Part B of this document.
Where applicable law requires consent or another lawful basis for processing, Data Vedanta will process personal data in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
16. Communications
We may send service-related communications concerning enquiries, registrations, payments, schedules, classes, support, security and other matters necessary to provide the Services.
Promotional communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the Privacy Policy, including available opt-out mechanisms where required.
17. Suspension and Termination
Data Vedanta may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these Terms, fail to meet payment obligations, engage in fraud, misuse proprietary content, engage in abusive conduct, compromise security or where necessary to comply with law.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that accrued before termination. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
18. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website and Services are provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not warrant that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device; that third-party tools will remain available; or that a program will meet every individual expectation or produce a particular educational or career outcome.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a right, remedy or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Data Vedanta will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the website or Services.
Where Data Vedanta is found liable for a claim relating to a paid Service, liability will, to the extent permitted by applicable law, be limited to the amount actually paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in this clause limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
20. Force Majeure
Data Vedanta will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, governmental action, public emergencies, telecommunications or internet failures, power failures, strikes, major technical infrastructure failures or other events of force majeure.
21. Changes to Services and Terms
We may update the website, Services or these Terms to reflect changes in our programs, business practices or applicable law.
Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the website or Services after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
22. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Subject to applicable law, disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts having jurisdiction over Data Vedanta’s applicable business establishment.
